The Any-Where platform designed for Dominos Pizza enables consumers to order food from any device including smart watches. Retail giant Target has drafted changes into custom software development so that inventory can be better integrated with customer requirements. Fellow retailer Wal-Mart has experimented with the Open Stack cloud platform so that users can better access its products. Banker Capital One has developed its mobile app which uses Amazon’s virtual assistant Alexa and also supports Apple’s new biometric identification software. Pharmaceutical giant CVS has developed its own digital business innovation lab in Boston. This is to use data to predict health hazards that people may have so that timely treatments may be recommended.
